River Oaks Community Centre

Orion completed an extensive retrofit of Rink A at the River Oaks Community Centre in Oakville, including replacement of the refrigerated rink slab, dasher boards, glass, and rink furnishings.

The project also included a full refrigeration plant upgrade, improvements to changerooms and other facility areas, and replacement of the roofing systems, including a custom Butler metal roof and the removal and reinstallation of existing solar panels.

Working closely with its refrigeration subcontractor, Orion refined the original plant design to improve long-term performance, maintenance, and future operation of the facility.
